A banana being peeled, and what's inside isn't fruit, it's a vintage broadcast microphone with K|D etched on the grille. Two references in one image: Warhol's Velvet Underground banana as pop-art shorthand for music history, and John Peel's name as shorthand for everything good that happened on late-night British radio between 1967 and 2004. The Peel Sessions ran for thirty-seven years. The fruit was always the music.

Printed via DTG (direct-to-garment) with the deliberate ink-break of a hand-pulled silkscreen, the line work stays crisp where it matters and breaks just enough at the edges to feel printed by humans. The vintage Shure-style mic reads as proper machined chrome, the banana peel as proper banana peel. Sits chest-centre on a clean black body so the line work pops without trying.
